关于七、八年级期末英语考试进行口语测试的通知
根据《英语课程标准》的要求，英语期末考试应包括口试、听力和笔试三种。
一、安 排
1、和往年一样操作，由英语备课组负责，根据教研室样题，分工准备学生卷几份，让学生准备。
2、各班测试由英语老师负责，具体方式备课组统一，可各自测试自己的班级，也可年级组统一测试。
3、因初二年级要举行生物、地理结业考试，信息省统一考查，所以初二英语老师要合理利用时间测试。
4、测试于6月13日前结束，成绩由英语老师拷给班主任，总分10分。期末英语试卷总分仍为100分。

一、朗读句子（2分）

Last week, he met a girl student on his way to school. She was pale and very weak. He took her to the hospital and called her family at once. The girl’s parents were very thankful to him.
I think Li Ping should get this award.

Oxfam Trailwalker has been one of Hong Kong’s biggest fund-raising events since 1981. It was known as Trailwalker before. It is organized by Oxfam Hong Kong to raise money for helping poor people in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia and Africa. Trailwalker is held in November every year. People over eighteen can group themselves into a team of four and join this charity walk.
Oxfam Trailwalker is a tough hike because you have to finish walking a 100-kilometere trail within 48 hours. It means you may have to walk for two days and nights without sleep. The trailwalkers have to walk through eight country parks and over twenty hills and mountains.

Blindness affects about 45 million people around the world. But many people do not have the money for medical treatment. ORBIS helps these people. It uses a flying eye hospital to visit poor countries. Volunteer doctors operate on the plane and train local doctors and nurses. It needs enough money to carry on with the work and hopes people can support the work by sending donations.
