1. Some new words: celebrate, Halloween, ghost, interesting, dress, as, Christmas, festival, mooncake…
2. Phrases: dress up as… like to do…Monkey King, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Thanksgiving Day…
3. Sentences: Which is your favourite festival?

Step1: Lead in
1. Give student a picture. Let them guess what it is about.
2. Say something about that festival. Let them know more about Hallow.
(Stir up students’ learning enthusiasm. Make them want to know other festivals.)
Step2: Presentation
1. Give more pictures to guess what they are. Read the names of festivals aloud.
2. Free talk: How can we celebrate these festivals?
(Let them share their knowledge about festivals. Students prepare it before class.)
